International students first. Consultants second.
Each of us once chose a country, translated documents, waited for a university’s answer and searched for a room in a new city. StudyU grew out of that experience: we help the way we wish someone had helped us.
Your consultant knows the country from the inside
Your consultant studies or studied in the country you are applying to. They can tell you about the workload, teaching, housing and the real budget: what university brochures leave out.
A clear application plan
We help you choose suitable programmes, understand the requirements and prepare documents. Before work begins, we agree the scope of services, cost and tasks we will handle.
The truth about the hard parts
We talk about the hard parts too: language, climate, costs, finding a first job. If a country or programme is not right for you, we say so straight away.
StudyU’s founder Mikhail Matyushenko and Damir Natkho are two of us. StudyU has many more student consultants, studying in different countries. Meet the team →

You are not alone: people who already study abroad are close by

- Discuss your application with a StudyU consultant: write to us on Telegram or WhatsApp.
- Student meet-ups: meet people who already study abroad before you move.
- Experience from your city: where we can, we connect you with a consultant who studies there.

Frequently asked questions
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. We discuss your goal, profile, budget and timing and suggest the next step. You are under no obligation to buy anything; paid services start only under a contract.
Does StudyU guarantee admission?
The university decides on admission, the scholarship provider decides on scholarships, and the authorized visa authority decides on visas. StudyU helps with programme selection and application preparation but does not guarantee admission, a scholarship or a visa. Our support obligations are set out in the contract.
Which countries do you work with?
The UK, the USA, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France, Turkey, South Korea and more: the catalogue covers 38 countries, and StudyU has 300+ partner universities. If a destination is unusual, we will tell you straight away whether we can help.
Who will my consultant be?
A student consultant who studies or studied in your chosen country. They stay with you from the shortlist to the university’s decision, so you never have to start your story again.
What does the university shortlist include, and what does it cost?
A shortlist of programmes in one country that fit your profile, budget and goal, with entry requirements, fees, application deadlines and official sources for each. It costs from $700; we confirm the exact price before the contract, once we know your case. Details are on the services and prices page.
How is StudyU’s work paid for?
You pay for the agreed StudyU services. Depending on the country and university, we may also receive remuneration from the university. Before signing the contract, you can ask whether we work with your chosen university. When selecting programmes, we consider your education, goals, budget and application deadlines.
Can I work with you from any country?
Yes. Consultations take place online; the StudyU head office is in Istanbul and consultants also work in Montreal. Write to us on Telegram, WhatsApp or at info@studyu.org.
