We are headquartered in Istanbul, with consultants in Montreal, and draw on first-hand study experience in Türkiye, Canada, the Netherlands, Italy and the United States.

How we help
We help applicants compare realistic destinations, universities and programmes; understand entry requirements, deadlines, tuition fees and related costs; and prepare applications and supporting documents. Recommendations reflect the student’s academic background, goals, language level, budget and timeline.
Where included in the agreed scope, support may also cover visa documentation, enrolment and arrival planning. Admission, scholarship, tuition-discount and visa decisions remain solely with the relevant institutions and authorities.
Who founded StudyU
Mikhail Matyushenko is StudyU’s Founder & Managing Director. He is a Finance PhD student at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business and holds a BSc in International Finance with a Computer Science minor and an MSc in Industrial Engineering — Data Science from Özyeğin University.
Mikhail moved to Türkiye in 2020 and experienced the international-student route first-hand. His work has included international recruitment, education fairs and school partnerships. He co-founded StudyU with Sanan Alizada in 2022 and leads strategy, finance, university partnerships and international development. Mikhail’s LinkedIn profile.
Sanan Alizada is a co-founder of StudyU and has contributed to the company’s development since its foundation.
