About the university
In 2018, Medipol University expanded its activities by opening a new branch in the historical center of Ankara, complementing its campuses in Istanbul . Medipol University Ankara has become a leading university in the field of medicine, offering education to more than 5,000 students, including 600 international students. Although Medipol University Ankara is known for its medical programs, it includes 9 faculties, 2 institutes and 3 professional schools with different areas of study ranging from design to political science. Special attention is paid to the medical faculties: a full-fledged hospital has been built for students, which combines four specialized hospitals: general, oncology, surgery and dentistry.
Students can practice on special mannequins, participate in live demonstrations by professors through installed screens, and internships in real clinical settings. Medipol Ankara University also provides extensive research opportunities. For example, students in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics work in a food preparation and culinary processing laboratory, which allows them to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. For nursing students, there is a specialized laboratory where they can practice basic patient care procedures.
