Salaries and demand: Turkey and abroad

The Turkish market. Istanbul is the region's largest IT hub: banks, e-commerce, game studios and startups hire developers, analysts and data specialists. IT is one of the few fields where junior specialists quickly reach an income above the national average, and English often matters more than Turkish. Income benchmarks shift quickly: pay ranges are revised annually along with minimum-wage indexation, so always check the current year.

What raises income: pet projects and a GitHub portfolio, cloud certifications, working-level English. We break down up-to-date salary ranges by city and employer in a free consultation.

How to apply for Software Engineering in Turkey

Admission to Software Engineering programs at private Turkish universities runs on your school record: an 11-year certificate is accepted directly, and most universities skip entrance exams. You'll need a language certificate - TOEFL for English-taught tracks or TÖMER for Turkish-taught ones - plus the denklik equivalence procedure, which we handle alongside your application. State universities may ask for the YÖS or SAT.
