How to apply
Admission via a Foundation year (for CIS school graduates) and IELTS. Master's admission is based on your bachelor's degree.
The standard admission route to Lancaster University for international students looks like this:
- Choose a program (9–12 months ahead). Decide on the field — management, engineering and natural Sciences — and the level: bachelor’s or master’s. Programs differ in requirements, deadlines and fees.
- Language certificate. Usually IELTS; the exact score depends on the university and program.
- Application. Applications are submitted online; once reviewed, the university sends an offer — with it you can plan finances and housing.
- Student visa and relocation. After the offer, a student visa or residence permit for the UK is arranged. We handle this stage end to end.
After 11 years of school. Not directly: bachelor programs require 12-13 years of schooling. A university Foundation year (one year) or A-levels (two years) close the gap. Master programs accept bachelor diplomas directly.
