Airport operations coordinators plan aircraft turnarounds, gates and ground-handling teams, usually in shifts.

Life beyond classes
What happens outside lectures depends on the university, so ask the department what it actually runs: airport and airline site visits, case competitions and student aviation clubs.
Ask whether the curriculum includes a compulsory internship (staj), how long it is, whether the university helps find a placement and whether a placement in your home country counts. For a semester abroad, ask which Erasmus+ partner universities the department has and whether international degree students can apply; a visa for the host country is a separate step.
Salaries and demand: Turkey and abroad
The Turkish market. Aviation employers in Turkey include Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, airports, ground-handling companies and maintenance centres. Salary figures date quickly because Turkish pay scales move each year with the minimum-wage revision, so use current-year data.

English-taught tracks ask for proof of English, such as TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic or the university's own proficiency exam (several universities, including Bahçeşehir, do not accept IELTS); Turkish-taught tracks ask for Turkish proof such as a TÖMER certificate. Applicants below the required level usually take a one-year preparatory programme first.
