European University Cyprus (EUC) is one of the leading private universities in Cyprus, in Nicosia, with roots in Cyprus College (1961) and university status since 2007. EUC is strong in medicine, business, IT and tourism, offers programmes in English and Greek; the language depends on the degree.
The university reports more than 14,000 students across the institution, including on-campus and online study. Its Nicosia campus includes a medical school.

Recognition needs to be checked at programme level. The Computer Science BSc is recognised by the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK). This is a specific professional recognition, rather than a blanket guarantee for every EUC degree or every destination country.
The Medicine MD is a six-year, 360-ECTS programme in English at the Nicosia campus. Before paying a deposit, a future doctor should check the licensing route in the country where they intend to practise.

For most undergraduate routes, EUC requires completed secondary education and reviews the school-leaving certificate. An 11-year qualification must be assessed for equivalence; the number of school years alone does not guarantee direct entry.
Fee amounts are from the 2026/27 schedule. General undergraduate requirements and Medicine requirements are separate. Transfer applicants also need transcripts and course descriptions for a credit assessment.
International tuition, Nicosia, 2026/27. EUC: international tuition 2026/27 separates annual undergraduate prices from whole-programme master’s fees. The examples below exclude accommodation and daily living costs.

Other charges. The 2026/27 schedule lists a general application fee of about $90 (€80) and registration of about $80 (€70) per semester; Medicine has a $225 (€200) application fee and is excluded from that registration fee. The admissions page requires a tuition deposit of about $3,360 (€3,000) by bank transfer from non-EU students. It is a payment towards tuition, so do not count it twice as an extra course fee; obtain the payment and refund terms for your offer.
Living budget. EUC’s current admissions FAQ estimates rent at about $670–1,120 (€600–1,000) per month and other living costs at about $670–1,010 (€600–900) per month. Those are planning ranges, not a residence quotation. Add insurance, travel, deposits and document costs. Do not plan on an unspecified scholarship: the FAQ restricts school-grade scholarships to Cypriot students and describes other awards separately.

Confirm the next available intake; autumn 2026 applications should not be treated as upcoming.
