## How to apply

Admission via a Foundation year and IELTS. Master's admission is based on your bachelor's degree.

How admission to University of Sydney works, step by step:

1. Choose a program (9–12 months ahead). Decide on the field — arts, IT, medicine and business — and the level: bachelor’s or master’s. Programs differ in requirements, deadlines and fees.
2. Language certificate. Usually IELTS; the exact score depends on the university and program.
3. Application. Applications are submitted online; once reviewed, the university sends an offer — with it you can plan finances and housing.
4. Student visa and relocation. After the offer, a student visa or residence permit for Australia is arranged. We handle this stage end to end.

After 11 years of school. Not directly: you need Foundation (a year) or the college Diploma track with transfer straight to year 2 - usually the faster and cheaper option.

## Documents for admission

- Passport
- School certificate and transcript
- IELTS certificate
- Motivation letter

Exact requirements depend on the program - we'll help you prepare.

Sydney is one of the world's best cities to live in; the university provides residences.

Once there, you will sort out registration, a bank account and a travel pass — we guide you through these steps after enrollment.

## Career after graduation

After graduation. The Temporary Graduate Visa gives several years of work rights - one of the clearest routes to skilled migration.

The strong fields of University of Sydney are arts, IT, medicine and business. As at most universities in Australia, students have access to a career centre, job fairs and internships — use them from the first semesters: hands-on experience is decisive for the first job.

An alternative track is further study: a bachelor’s degree earned in Australia opens master’s programs worldwide, and a master’s strengthens your position on the job market.
